I like over cooked food. DH likes barely cooked food. So I eat the burnt chop, and we're both happy

Yeah I always give myself the burnt/bad food. My boyfriend cooks a lot and he does the same, so for us it works both ways.

I've never had this happen. When we cook the food all turns out the same so if one is burnt the other is too and if one is great so is the other.
I just give him the biggest bit.

I always give my partner the best, I really really enjoy cooking... And I am big on presentation, I always try to make sure everything looks like it has come from a restaurant lol

I will give DH the bigger bit but not the "best" bit lol
Depending on the meal, I will do my best to make sure everyone gets the best bit of their favourite thing...but I won't deliberately give myself the worst...i am just as important as everyone else!

I keep the worse piece for myself, I'm not a great cook so I try to make DP think I don't suck at cooking lol

I take it...and if for some reason I haven't cooked enough I feed the kids dp and I have a little plate or toast. ..

The kids always come first but between DP and I it alternates as to who gets the worst. Except when I was pregnant, then I got whatever I wanted.

DF gets angry if I try to throw burnt toast away, he says he LOVES it burnt.
He also loves doughy and undercooked food apparently!
Hehe, we always make too much, so the burnt stuff gets put to the side and whoever wants seconds gets the yucky bits.
