    Default Travelling on Jet Star

I will be lucky enough to be going OS late this year for a family holiday.

Has any one had issues with getting seats next to their children on Jet star?

We paid for us all to be seated together for the huge international part of the journey but not from Brisbane to Cairns.

Should I pay for this to be safe? I would definitely not want to ave to sit apart.

    TIA

I recently flew Jetstar from Brisbane to Adelaide. There was a family of 4 that boarded that had seats all over the place. Dad was seated in one seat, the daughter (about 5yo) was seated across the aisle and mum and baby were down the back of the plane. Once all passengers had boarded the flight attendants and some complying passengers were able to jiggle seating so they could all be seated together. It was easy enough, although the plane wasn't full at the time. There was another time when DH and I have been seated separately despite booking tickets together and checking in together. They split us up at the gate without even asking us. This is why I don't fly Jetstar if I can help it!

Ditto. We try and fly Virgin, who are much better.
