I did mine yesterday!! Thank goodness I had 3 inches of white roots!
My obs said its perfectly fine to do after the first 12weeks.
And that's just him being cautious as he wouldn't even let me go to the gym in the first 12wks!
Dye away love, you will feel better for it. I feel 10yrs you younger today!

So far, it hasn't really been found to be unsafe. Just use ammonia free dye and do it in a well ventilated area.

I did mine just before 5 weeks - I used that new one thats oil and no ammonia, smelt quite nice, I just thought bleach was off limits while preg, not the other stuff?

I think you are right, I've never read anywhere that hair dye has been proven to cause any problems.
I think my obstetrician is just really conservative and doesn't like anything to happen during the first 12 weeks. He didn't even want me to have the fluvax. It's part of the national guidelines that fluvax is safe to have at any point in a pregnancy.

There's nothing wrong with dying your hair when you're pregnant. It doesn't penetrate your skin far enough to enter your blood****** and if you have good ventilation you shouldn't have to worry too much about the fumes.
