    Hi everyone...

I am looking for some healthy snack ideas that are yummy & aren't too difficult/expensive to make??

I cook healthy dinners, but struggle with snacking... Would love your ideas/help?

I made up a cup of hummus last week and spent the week snacking on it with veg sticks. When you make it yourself you can add as little oil as you like.

    for who?
i dont snack at all. i eat 3 square meals and dont feel the urge.
    My kids graze all day
i always have a plate of fresh (sometimes canned if not much fresh variety) out for them to help themselves.
banana bread is a hit here so are cheese and chive muffins along with cheese and vegemite scrolls. All these freeze really well so i have a cooking day where i make batches for the freezer and just have to pull them out when i want.
    raisin bread
    dried fruit
plain pop corn (make it yourself with no oil, air popped)
    rice cakes
    rice crakers
    yoghurt
    hard boiled eggs
carrot and cucumber sticks with simple home made tzikki dip. (i add LOTS of garlic)

    Subbing.

I bake things like zucchini slice, savoury muffins and low sugar banana bread which helps with snacking.

Mainly me... My son is only 4 months, so not at the snacking stage. I find cause I'm busy during the day I snack a lot rather than sitting down to a proper meal.
