Default How much hair do you lose?

Maybe a random question but when you wash your hair or if you were to run your fingers through your hair and shake it over a sink would you lose a few, a handful, none? Is hair loss an issue for you or do you notice hair thinning as you age? My pony tail is smaller and there's more hair on the floor than ever before. Apparently we lose 100 hairs a day but that seems odd to me...

Post birth I was losing a lot every day for about a year. Handfuls. I was amazed I still had hair left!

I lose so much hair I am surprised I am not bald. A hairdresser washing my hair actually asked me if it was normal! So embarrassing.

    This is me too.

I have very thin hair and have done just about everything to stop it but still happens. I tried to count the strands of hair I lost one time in the shower and estimated about 100 strands

    This is also me.

I used to have lovely, thick hair. Now I have lovely, thick clumps of hair all over the shower, hairbrush, couch...

I've just started the post-pregnancy shed. With DD I lost about 1/3 to 1/2 my hair. DS is 13 weeks and I'm now finding hairs everywhere! Sadly I also shed a couple of months after my miscarriages too, though not as extreme.

There is hair everywhere! Straight after having my babies, I lost handfuls, everyday. I'd say at least half my hair fell out in the space of a few weeks. My normal hair loss is a handful at every shower, and it covers my house, hair everywhere. I'd guess I lose at least 200 strands a day. At least. I have very thick hair though. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I loose about a brush full every morn, the only time I freaked out was when I had my hair braided in Thailand and took it out after a week and there was clumps of hair falling out. My hair has thinned recently but that's just the change in the weather as it is getting warmer, well that's my reasoning anyways lol
