    Default FTB confusion

    Hi all

I am a single mum, working part time but do not qualify for any single parenting payment. I do receive FTB B, but I don't qualify for FTB A. Could someone tell me the difference between these two payments as Centrelink's explanation made no sense.

    I do receive child support.

    Thanks

I'm a single mother working part time also. I'm not sure of the difference either, except for I automatically get the full amount of ftb b as I'm a single mum. Ftb a is means tested, so I only receive a portion of that. You should check why you aren't getting ftb b.

Thanks, that does make a bit more sense.
