Default Improving chances of IVF success?

Ok ladies, give me your best tips for success. Diet, supplements, lifestyle, alternative therapies, doing the chicken dance at 4:15pm every third day and twice on a full moon - anything!!

Me: history of mild endo (none present at most recent laparoscopy)
DH: low count, poor morphology, poor motility and fragmentation
    Current treatment: PICSI

We're doing our second cycle now and due for transfer on Wednesday. This time we only got 9 eggs at EPU and 6 fertilised, but at day 3 we only have 2 embies on track and they have some fragmentation.

EPU is really hard for me, I have lots of pain for almost a week afterwards and it seems we're lucky to make it to transfer so getting anything in the freezer is not likely.

I can't keep having EPUs so really need it to work!!

    What helped you? Any suggestions??

I tried acupuncture, I tried taking Chinese herbs during a three month IVF break, I tried eating lots of protein, I tried sugar-free diets, I tried gluten-free diets. I ate kiwi fruit and pineapple during the TWW, I always wore shoes or socks so my feet didn't get cold, I tried keeping fit, then I tried no exercise. I tried watching funny movies after transfer... Then I gave up, figured it wasn't going to work, did whatever I pleased, and ...it worked!

good luck Cue, my advise is to just do whatever you need to do to stay slightly sane ...then keep your fingers crossed... Some cycles work, some don't, unfortunately I don't think there's much we can do to change that...

Fingers crossed that this is your cycle! Xx

I did one MAJOR thing different between my two IVF cycles which was acupuncture. Started about 5 weeks before my cycle, every week during and twice on transfer day.

Other than that I did the old wife tale kind of things including eating warming foods and keeping my feet warm. I also ate 5 brazil nuts everyday after pickup but otherwise my diet and exercise was the same as the first cycle.

No frosties in either cycle but I have just got a BFP today and fingers crossed it's a sticky.

Congrats on your BFP! I hope it sticks for you.

I'm going to look into acupuncture tomorrow. DH is willing so I'll get him onto it first.
