With all this talk about smart money management and watching my own families spend spiral out of control we've been looking for a budgeting app to help us a bit. DH found one called YNAB but you have to have it on the PC. It was $15 when he first lookes at it but that was special price. It's usually $60 and that's far too steep.
I don't mind paying a little bit for a decent app but if there is something good that is free that would be preferred.

Personally I'd just download some of the top rated free apps and see which one I like best.
Easy envelopes ( I think it's called) is meant to be good apparently... I'm too lazy to budget though.

There's one called eeba that seems Ok. Was going to suggest it for a friend cause he used to use physical money and envelopes.

There's one as part of the moneysmart.gov.au website called track my spend. That's free. I think it's more for spending though and you do the budgeting on the website first.
