We bought from Baby on the Run last year when the Aus dollar was really strong, I don't know how prices will compare to Aus now. We just emailed them and they sent us all the info including a ref number and quote for the parcel forwarding service they use. I personally found them great to deal with.

Yes any issues have to be dealt with through Baby Jogger US. That's the chance we took as we realised it would cost us more if we had to pay for shipping back and forth in the future but we felt it was worth it considering how much we saved on the initial purchase. I've been extremely happy with my Versa so far though and can't foresee having any issues in the near future.

I have twins in a baby jogger pram. Didn't want to spend $400 extra for bassinets so I bought Vee Bee cocoons. Brilliant!! They fit snuggly into most prams and are handy for carrying bubs around or sleeping in during the day if we're out somewhere. Cost $50 each on sale.

Ive got the versa but not the bassinet as I bought it recently when dd was 9mths.
However if id had it from birth id have bought the bassinet and car capsule adaptors. The seat really isnt appropriate for newborns or smaller bubs and its handy to have when you're out at night etc.
Can you sell some stuff to pay for it? That's what I did to save for the bassinet for my city elite. Or if you put away say $50 a week or fortnight to slowly save for it?
Ive also heard good things about baby on the run
