Comedienne Fiona o'loughlin left one of her kids in a bottle shop once, I think. The good news is ds is fine and your memory lapse wasn't witnessed by anyone else. Don't be too hard on yourself

You're not a bad mum You were distracted and it can happen to any of us. Your DS is fine, that's all that matters now. Mistakes happen, we learn from them

It does happen a lot, we left our 2 year old home acciedently, she had gone to the toilet and it wasn't until we were driving down the road 10 minutes later that our Ds said it wasn't fair that our dd wasn't going shopping because we left her at home we thought he was joking, we felt so horrible when we got back home she was crying her eyes out.

As others said the main thing is your DS is okay and it does happen to the best of us at times & no one is perfect..
