I forgot I had 5m DS2 in the car today! I went to get DD from school. Had a chat, got het stuff, talked to the teacher. Then realised I left him in the car with windows up, car off. I've never run so fast in my life. I live in the north and its like 32 degrees and sunny. I feel terrible! How could I have done this? What if it happened again? He was ok but getting a bit hot and sweaty. I still can't believe it. A really bad mum day.

Awww . I'm sure you will be more scarred by the experience than him. A friend of mine once put her son in his capsule on the groung next to the car, went around to the drivers side, got in and drove off leaving him there for 10 minutes with only a rhodesian ridgeback for company. These things happen, especially when we are tired and on auto pilot.

Big hugs!!! No point in worrying about what it's because they didn't happen and now you will never let it happen again. Baby is ok and that is the main thing! Do not beat yourself up about it xxxx

Lisa Wilkinson from Today once said she went to the beach with her family. At the end of the day went home and realised she left one of her sons behind at the beach. Couldn't drive fast enough and lucky he was still sitting in the same spot they left him. Happens to the best of us.
