    I'm going to have an account for each child which is specifically for their first car. They have to buy something decent which we will most likely pick.

    DHs dad bought his first car for him even though it was only $750 lol! I bought my own.

    For us it will depend on the child's situation with school, part time jobs, sports etc. But I believe we will either match savings or give them a set amount and they can use only that or can choose to add their own to get a better car.
