At daycare, home etc - yes. Don't think we've really come across one in public

I hate sand so avoid it as much as we can. Once DS sand from his clam shells and the extra sand i bought was gone, that was it. He plays in sand at school so there is always sand throughout the house and i hate it.

We dont have sandpits at our local parks.
But ds#2 plays in the sandpit at preschool and early intervention (he was scared of it and due to sensory issues would not touch it, but after a year of OT work he does) hooray.
If it was at a park id say no. Both preschools over their sandpits at night...
Sandpits are a cat magnet. Ew

At home or someone's house I don't really care, but if its at a grotty feral park I won't encourage it!!

We have a sand pit in our yard, but we also have a dog so never had the cat poo problem.
The park just 2 mins from our house has sand.
Here is another park we go to a lot. It has shade now and water sprayer.
