    Default Anti psychotic medication

Does anyone have experience with an anti psychotic? I've just been out on Zyprexa.

I don't feel too different, first dose tonight and I'm in hospital.

Bad side effects? Did it help? Is there anyone out there who did not put on weight on these meds? Please give me hope!

    Thanks hubbers xx

For me it kicked in very quickly, within days. It definitely helped, but created more of a numb feeling... So while the bad feelings disappeared.... So did any feelings at all if that makes sense. I remember feeling like I was just going through the motions.

I don't know about weight gain, I took mine alongside of other drugs (one of which being dexies so basically speed) so I don't know sorry

Good luck, I hope they work for you xxx

Yeah it makes sense thanks. I felt like that when I went from 50-100mg of my anti depressant but not with any of the subsequent increases.

    Thanks.

Face one battle at a time French, you probably won't be on this drug long term. Ask yourself what you want to achieve short term and work towards that goal.
