If it were me I would wait for your child to be born then give her a locket with a lock of thier hair in it. I did that for my bf who helped me so much and she loved it! It made her feel closer to us when she is so far away

Massage, facial or manicure vouchers are always a hit with my girlfriends. It's always nice to be encouraged to take time out guilt free cause u don't have to pay for it!
Otherwise maybe a really nice bottle of bubbly or a charm if she wears a pandora bracelet ?

I would probably go with a keepsake sort of gift, something she will cherish forever and remind her of how much she means to you. So I'd go with jewellery of some sort, depending on your friend's taste- a bracelet, locket, friendship ring etc.. and it doesn't have to cost a fortune, either.
Or maybe something for her home that she will keep forever, like a nice photo frame, vase etc.. I like knick knacks Bevilles has some great gifts at reasonable prices, too.
Or even a bottle of her fave perfume? You could send flowers along with the gift- if someone had flowers delivered to my door I'd be so touched. Simple but very special.

Maybe you could make a photo book of photos of the two of you through the years along with a card outlining the reasons you cherish her friendship.

I did make a collage for her when she moved away. But will definitely be considering some of these suggestions =)
