Hehe great thread!
I have a stash of chocolate just for bribing DD (2)
DD did a pretty good job of "ordering" fish & chips the other week...thankfully she doesn't know how to actually dial numbers yet...
I let her have cordial (I justify it by making it weak & using the natural cordial co cordial)
DD watches Dr Who with us more nights than I like to admit.
And she has been in daycare from 7am -5:15pm, Mon to Fri ever since she was 8mths old.
I let her watch TV when we get home so I can start dinner/have 10mins to myself.
My house is a mess...as is the car & I'd rather not speculate on how long some of the sultanas DD has picked up & eaten have been hiding in her car seat...

One day when we were doing late night shopping and DH was buying shoes in city beach DS2 was at the point where he was about to breakdown into a full sensory meltdown and was hiding in his pram cos it was all too much for him... I picked up a monsters foot slipper and figured I'd try to make him giggle and head the meltdown off... so I stuxk the slipper under the hood of the pram in front of his face... omfg I have nevet heard him scream so loud it scared the beejeebus out of him, it took me 15 mins of tight cuddles and rubbing his back to get him to stop screaming at the top of his lungs and another hour to stop him sobbing. Talk about backfire, snd still to this day he refuses to enter that city beach cos "there monsters in there mummy, I fraid" - and I'll admit, I still giggle when I think about it.
