Nope. We used to, but just bought pur house 1 month ago, and used every penny for that. I had asked DH to keep some savings for later on, but with the fees, furniture etc, we spent everything. Now, starting to build up something. I want to have atlest 5k saved before jan when bub is born. Looks difficult though, lets see!!

Yes, ive been a saver since i was very young ... downside is im massively tight.

Yep, we have a little extra on our mortgage if needed. When saving for our house deposit we opened up an account at a different bank and put a set amount in each pay. We received cards for the account but I cut them up and didn't set up internet banking so we couldn't access the money easily. That worked well.

Yes. I feel uncomfortable without savings. Unfortunately mine is going to get wiped out in the next few weeks due to our wedding. I love the round down $10 everyday idea!!

I have 'savings' but its not real savings I guess. If I don't have a current goal to save for then it's my emergency impulse money lol. Dp has savings with no goal and refuses to touch it and that just seems like a waste to me

Yes we do...well we did until it paid for my hip surgery! That's why I like to have it, for unexpected expensive situations. We're starting to build it up again.

We used ours up for our house deposit but have managed to build it up again after 18 months. Usually if we have extra money come in for tax refund, work bonus etc we put away in a special savings account

Yep we always have a little bit of money put away for emergencies but lately we've been dipping into it constantly. I like to put at least a little away each week so that there is always something there though. I'm good at budgeting on paper and I work out how much we should have left over each week but in reality it never actually works like that

I only have savings in the kids schooling account & water bill fund I find if I ever do have extra savings things start breaking and need replacing
