Thanks for your replies. I feel better knowing that other women can understand my problem. have found a gyno a friend recommended so hopefully I can get a referral from the gp. I have seen one other gyno who said it was dryness and breast feeding hormones causing it. I haven't breastfed for 3 months and the problem is still there.

One thing i have learnt is.....if the answer given by drs to your problem isn't satisfactory and doesn't help you in anyway then just keep seeing people until someone can help. I'm sorry the last gyno didn't help you and that you are going through this. I hope the ladies here that have been through similar can support you while you find help. Good luck
