Employers will just stop paying it. Already been mentioned at my work.
I think a "top up" for women earning over $150K will remain though, as an employer benefit, so that those women will still receive 6 months pay.

How about we provide basic payments with criteria to stop misuse of the system, provide lots of training and support. Affordable education. Then have people become self sufficient and their pay off is that they are earning 40k not 10k on newstart?

18 weeks at minimum wage (currently about $640/week before tax)
