Hi there,
I am currently 12 weeks pregnant with baby number 1. Have had the worst morning sickness throughout the beginning all day and lost a bit of weight. Yesterday and today felt very different still slight nausea but no vomiting and not near as bad. It feels kinda scary has me worried if everything is ok. Is this normal to feel this way?

When did your morning sickness go away?

It varies depending on the women. I didn't have none with DS, but this time around I had it and it has subsided a lot and I'm 12 weeks. My friend had sickness with her DD right up until delivery. I've read that it should subside around 12-16 weeks, but I'd take that with a grain of salt.

Mine left between 11.5-12 weeks.
Hopefully yours is almost over!

Yes.
Everyone is different but normally there is an easing in morning sickness.
Congratulations on your pregnancy

Congrats on your pregnancy!
I had the worst of mine up until 16 weeks and every now and then i get a bad day. But the worry is normal. Once you start to show in the next few weeks it will help mentally, as it is evident the baby is still growing and you have nothing to worry about.
Good luck!

congrats on your pregnancy.
I'm 28 weeks with my first and have suffered with ms or nausea the whole time. worst was from weeks 7 - 17 with a week around 14 where it seemed to subside. I havent vomited since week 17 but feel varying levels of nausea.
I don't mean to scare you with my experience (it sounds horrible when I write it down). everyone is different and will work out ways to deal with it. I have days where I feel normal and I worry that something is wrong until bubs gives a few reassuring kicks.
hope you feel better soon and can enjoy your pregnancy.

With DS I had morning sickness from 10wks to 14wks with the odd bout of nausea in the 3rd trimester (nothing as bad as those 4wks).
With this little one I am 20wks and am still suffering from all day sickness. I'm on Maxalon but still vomit daily. My ob/gyn made me have blood tests today to see if there's anything else causing it to stay around longer than normal.

Agree with others, it varies so much between people
Our first pregnancy I was sick (vomiting at random times of the day up until my d&c at 12.5wks (missed m/c, bubs passed at about 8.5wks so that sucked big time)
With dd it hit at just past 4wks. I was medicated from 6ish through to just shy of 18wks - that was all day vomiting there
I think I'm just bound to suffer

My first pregnancy I had ms much like you have from 6-16 weeks.
Second time around it was 4-24 weeks.
Hang in there. X
