Where I live is a huge bush and DP, DS and myself go walking through there at least 4 times per week and it is so deserted halfway through the 40 min walk and often I see a girl walking with a kelpie and she says HELLO and keeps walking and I often say to DP how concerned I am for her to be walking alone at 4.30pm - 5pm at night. She would be about 15 years old. It just makes me feel uncomfortable that she isn't walking with anyone else. As a parent it makes me worry.

Sometimes. At night yes. Especially when dp is on night shift. I hate coming home after dark and going into the house, I'm always afraid someone will be in the house!

DH an I went to tassie a few years ago for our wedding anniversary and we booked a holiday house right up in the mountains, very secluded but beautiful.
The house had big bay windows every were with no curtains at all even in the bathroom so much so that you could see into the bathroom when driving into the property...
It was in winter and freezing an on our second night we frightened the living day lights out of ourselves it became very windy and we where surrounded by huge gum trees swaying the house at night was very creepy. We had no telephone at all and our mobiles couldn't get a reception at all.
After finally getting the wood fire lit and it not heating the place up much at all because of the high ceilings we decided there and then to pack up and leave, we tidied te place up and loaded the car up and headed off to find some where else's to spend the next few nights....
Didn't help that the road leading in and out was a old dirt track with no lights very creepy....mind you the previous day we had checked out a few places that Martin Bryant went on his killing spree at...
