Default What does self weaning look like?

DD is being treated for silent reflux and I know I have a low supply, but this sort of feels different...

DD is pulling off the breast and crying (but not screaming like did before she started losec for silent reflux). Then she'll attach again only to continue sooking/crying while on the breast, then the whole thing will repeat.

I've tried swapping sides and burping, but neither helped...

My dd does this when she wants to suck but not on the breast. I give her a dummy and a cuddle and she's happy

I'm not sure how old your dd is but it's very rare for a bf bub to self wean before 12 months or so- nursing strikes are much more common/likely.

Why do you think you have low supply?

My ds started doing that at around 4-5 months and it ended up I was pregnant and apparently the taste had changed. Things settled down again pretty soon. Could you be pregnant by any chance?

I'll also add my DD has reflux, untreated until 3.5mths (she's now 9mths) & I have low storage capacity and am just now weaning off motilium for low supply, and dd has an upper lip tie.
Just try a few times to get her to feed, if not happening then take off and settle her down and bring her to the breast calm

Heaps of reasons, failure to thrive, unable to express much, DD would never settle, but would bf for hours on end if she didn't fall asleep, if she fell asleep when I'd try and move her she'd wake up and demand more. I've seen an lc a couple of times, I'm on motilium, I'm adding chia seeds to a lot of my meals to try and increase protein and calcium intake, I've tried lactation cookies, which did a little but not much. I could probably go on, but you know... sleep deprivation...

I don't think so, we've only dtd once since she came along and we used a condom.

I suppose it's possible af is nearing, but I don't know as it hasn't come back yet.

Any tips on giving dd a dummy? I've tried but she doesn't really want to take it. I've tried four different types, nuk, cherry, straight (not sure what it's called) and I'm now working on the gumdrop.

It's usually around the same time every night that she starts fighting the breast, could it just be a part of witching hour?

    Thanks

Does she only do the pulling of the breast/crying at the same time of day? Or is it every feed?
