    Default Hoot birthday cake

DS will be 2 in Sept and I want to make a Hoot cake. I'd love to see any you have made with hints/tips. We are just having a family gathering with 6 kids aged 2-10 any games/activity ideas would be welcome too. I am thinking of making a pinata in a number 2. I was hoping to hire some large toys like climbing/slide etc but can't find anywhere in the area that hires these out so I'm a bit stuck.

Game ideas: pass the parcel, musical chairs, treasure hunt ( team bigger kids with little ones), piñata's always go down well.
maybe look into hiring a small jumping castle?

Thanks for the ideas. I have looked at jumping castles but at $180 for 4hrs it's a bit out of my budget.

We bought a jumping castle last year for $199 from Aldi - DS uses it every week and anytime we have family /friends over!

Hey. I had a "hoot" first birthday or my son. We had lots of orange and blue decorations and I made "hoot Loot" bags. We also had things like shortbread hoot hearts and orange and blue jelly.

I will try and work out how to post the cake pic in a bit
