And this is why I don't find out the sex of my babies until they're born lol.

Oh no, the poor thing !! It certainly would be easy to spend a lot of money buying either girl/boy things after the gender is revealed at a scan. This exact thing happened to friend of mine last year. All the way along she was told it was a girl & they went out & bought a lot of girls things. When bub was born early Dec, everyone got a shock when it came out a little boy. Everyone very quickly bought them a heap of blue clothing & blankets...

lol. I will be having a neutral nursery theme when I get pg & will buy a mix of different coloured onesies!

Maybe it is better to not find out the sex beforehand?

I had an amnio so I'm pretty confident about the sex of my bub but I have still kept things pretty neutral...just in case someone made a big booboo in lab!

Makes me wonder how many scans they had though? If its just 1 or 2 you can understand . I've made my OBY check 4 different appointments ( ultra sound machine in room) plus we had an 18 week and then a 21 week scan ( just to follow up on 18 week one) all saying girl, guess well find out in a few weeks

Lol!!! A similar thing happened to a friend of mine! She was told in three different scans that she was having a girl, so they had picked out a name, had bought lots of girls clothes and had decorated the bedroom pink....only to give birth to a boy!

Ouch! Also a reason I don't find out until bubs is born. Not that hard to have gender neutral stuff until then, people have been doing it for a long time!
