    Hi. Try to avoid Dr Google as the information that you are likely to get that isn't well referenced may point you in the wrong direction. Expert opinion from a health professional that you trust is the best strategy to get great care. It sounds like your GP knows you and your child well and has your best interests at heart. Here's a video on croup that I've done for the emergency department that I manage in Brisbane that might be of use.
