Well I'm at the airport ready to go to my honeymoon yay!!! Only downside is I've come up in hives (itchy allergy) all over the body. So irritating. Not sure if I ate something, if it's pollen in the air or if it's the hormones (apparently you can get hives I pregnancy from hormones and stretching of skin). I had this years ago when I was younger so it's come out of nowhere. I guess my immune system wouldn't be at it's best too. I've googled, it can't hurt the baby so that's the main thing.
Can't take any drugs so just using aloe.
Anyway hopefully the fresh fiji air will do the trick, would hate to be this irritated all honeymoon.
Looking forward to a phone detox when I get to fiji so you won't hear from me for a while. Hope anyone that has their scans have beautiful results. xxx
Hope morning sickness is kind and energy levels are boosted. Fingers crossed this itching goes away as at the moment I can't handle any touching...no relaxing massages or anything with DH! Xx

Good luck today Arlais with your scan. Cant wait to hear your positive results.
I dont really have any symptoms either Wish. Just dizziness and incredible hungar. Im starving all the time. Its bad. My DH knows not to get between me and food at the moment. Poor bloke.
Have a fantastic honeymoon Lots- you will have alot of good news to catch up with when you get back. Bad news about your hives- sea water is awesome for stuff like that though it may sting alittle.

Slight hiccup today ladies, I got to the scan place this morning only to find out the sonographer had called in sick! They had been trying to call me but unfortunately had my old phone number on the system - for a house I haven't lived at in 10 years
Luckily they managed to squeeze me in at another location, but I still have to wait another 2 hours. I had to empty my bladder, so now I've got to drink another 1.5 litres. I guess at least I'll definitely get my fluid quota for the day!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, had my scan moved forwards to tomorrow as it has just been such a hard week. Still have pg symptoms but apparently that's normal. Came down with the flu too lol so it's all been quite a crap week, DH has 2 kids of his own and finding it really difficult to be around them. I feel bad as its not their fault. DH being reassuring of our 2 embies in the freezer, drove myself batty googling, DH took the iPad off me and managed to wean me onto plants vs zombies ... Anyway come what may we will have some news tomorrow. I wish I was one of those lucky people who have miracle stories but my luck has always been crap with things like this. Oh well hopefully it won't happen again.
Ill update you tomoz... Hope you ladies are going great guns!

wish - you are so right about google being evil. I was insistent I had a blighted ovum (which I had pretty much never heard of before googling like a freak) and worked myself up in a tizzy all for nothing last week. Fingers crossed your scan is all good on Friday
bedlover & ngaiz - Oh nooooo!! Morning sickness - blergh Touchwood none here yet but you guys are a little ahead of me at the moment!
butterfly - good to hear you've wrapped your head around it a little and have a distraction instead of google. I really do wish and pray that you get the best ever news tomorrow. Will be thinking about you xx
simpson - so very exciting that you got to see your little bubs! That second one is a really good pic.
JJ - how great that you love your obs because that is so important. I am so scared of meeting mine and not liking her or thinking she doesn't live up to the rave reviews I've heard. I've heard of the wafers but have never had to use them.
lotsa - you enjoy that honeymoon and no stressing!! Hopefully you feel better and do get to enjoy your special time with DH.
arlais - waiting to hear your update! fingers crossed all is well.
to everyone else along the way as well
AFM..... ummm 7+1 scan on Tuesday might have revealed two heartbeats. It's not completely certain either way because my uterus was apparently high up and back so was difficult to get to even with an internal. But doc was able to show me the two little blippy spots on the screen and my measurements seemed to be a little ahead which could also be two little embabies overlapping apparently.
Another scan next week to get the answer.
So lucky me gets a 6 week, a 7 week AND an 8 week scan all before I see my obs at 10 weeks!
I'm leaning towards dodgy machine and stupid uterus at the moment instead of the possibility of twins but who knows!?!

Twins Nirok!?! My goodness, did you transfer two embryos? Our sonographer said twins in IVF with a SET is very very rare! And super jealous you get like 5 scans! I think Im the only one im here to just get the two - stupid public system!
Arlais you are killing me!! Im hoping your absence is due to shear ecstasy!!

Just getting work stuff sorted Wish
Bubs is doing absolutely fine, kicking, waving and generally being naughty for the sonographer Heartbeat was 146 bpm, NT measurement was great at 1.4mm (they like it to be under 2.5). I haven't got the combined risk factor yet, but the sonographer was confident to say bubs would be low risk
