Wish even if you exaggerate the reasons why you are at emergency, you'll still get checked out and it may make you feel a bit better that they won't think you're crazy. As the others have said, it really doesn't matter what others think of you right now - your peace of mind is worth so much more than that.

Oh cappy and hoping - I can't express how sad I am for you guys. The biggest warmest hugs for you both, please take time to heal and look after yourselves.
Wish - I agree. Just go if its going to make you feel better and relieve the pressing feeling of anxiety. Fwiw we have friends due two days prior to us who have no symptoms whatsoever and saw their healthy bub last week.
Ngaiz - I really hope all is ok. Call your dr or clinic to get checked out if your worried. That's what we pay them for!
First ob appt for us today, and hoping all is great and we get to see bubba again. So nervous though.
Been struggling with massive tooth ache this last week and another dentist appt today too.
Mum is home, but not doing as we'll as we'd all hoped. Scary to think we have no idea how long we have left with her, realistically it could even only be a matter of weeks.

Veritas I'm glad to hear your mum is home, it's always a much better environment for her to be in and you would be surprised how many people hold on a lot longer than expected when they are in familiar surroundings.
I've unfortunately had a few family members pass away from cancer and what they all said they wanted most was for us to keep living our lives, spend quality time with them when we could, but please don't just be sitting around waiting for them to go - they much preferred shorter visits which felt as normal as possible.
If you need to chat a bit more about it you're welcome to PM me whenever you like xo

Yes girls remember if you have pain and bleeding in pregnancy you do need a scan to make sure it's definitely not an ectopic and you don't lose a tube.

I have been hovering in the background, too scared to join in so far, but I couldn't read and not post after yesterday's sad news .
Cappy- biggest of hugs to you . My heart broke when I read that you've lost 8 babies now... no-one should have to endure such tragedy over and over. I'm not sure what further investigations you've had done, but you sound like you could benefit from a consultation with Reproductive Immunologist Dr G Matthias. Even if you're not in Sydney, he does phone appts and has patients all over the country (he's the only RI in Aust). I can't recommend him highly enough. I thought my FS had tested me for everything under the sun with regard to recurrent implantation failure, but Dr Matthias is in a league of his own and runs even more tests until he finds the answers. Sorry if I sound pushy in your time of sadness... but the thought of one loss let alone 8 is devastating to me and I really hope you never have to go through it again.
Hopingformore- I wish there were words that could make you feel better. I hope you & your DH find the strength to get through this awful time.
Ngaiz- I hope the bleeding has stopped and your BT gives reassuring results that your little one is hanging on tight.
Veritas- my heart goes out to you and your family . I lost my Mum to cancer 4 years ago and will never forget how difficult it was in the latter stages before she passed. Feel free to PM if you need a virtual shoulder to cry on xo.
Arlais- I'm also on daily clexane injections, but they bother me much less now I know I'm jabbing for a good reason! Kudos to your FS for screening you so thoroughly with your first IVF, most of them won't do anything beyond standard BTs until you've had 3 failures and/or losses.
Big hello to all the other IVF graduates . Hopefully I'll be here for the long haul and get to know you all better.
AFM- I finally got my BFP after 8.5 long years TTC, 3yrs of that with IVF. This lucky cycle was transfer #7 and blastocyst #9. The winning combo was advanced embryo selection with PGD and a heavy-duty immune protocol from my RI to stop my body rejecting the embryo. So far I've had 2 BTs and results were great both times: 325 @ 16dpo and 4512 @ 23dpo (doubling time 44.5hrs). I really have no reason to worry but I can't help it, it just seems too good to be true and I wake up every day with thoughts the rug is about to be pulled out from under me . I'm 5w4d today and my 7wk scan is on 24/9. EDD using my FET date is 11th May, which just so happens to be Mothers Day. Usually the most miserable day of the year for me after losing my Mum... it will be nice to smile for a change when it rolls around next year.

Warm welcome, Simpson Desert! How lovely it is to have a due date of Mother's Day! My due date falls almost on my 41st Bday then it would be Mother's Day too. Oh to dream.... Enjoy your time here and here's hoping its a sticky one. Sounds like you're in amazing hands x

Thanks so much for your kind words Simpson and Arlais. We live with her ATM so it's lovely to have that close proximity.
Met our ob this afternoon and she is amazing. Got to see our little bubba and here it's awesome heartbeat. Such a great reassurance.

Welcome Simpson Desert and congratulations!!
Thank you all for your support. The bleeding stopped as fast as it started and my beta came back at just over 30000. Clinic seems happy with everything and my scan on Tuesday can't come soon enough.
How are you Wish? Did you get checked out? The GP I saw yesterday was great and really supportive. Told me you can never be too cautious even though some of these scary things are normal.
Cappy and Hopingformore, I'm truly lost for words. After my little scare yesterday I can't begin to comprehend what you are experiencing. I hope you both look after yourselves and give yourself some time to heal.
