Rushie, I'm waiting for one proper period before getting back into TTC and ovulation testing. I feel like the lining of the uterus would need a good clean out before its safe to try again. But that's just me. It's a pain my cycles are longer than average. They are usually 35 days so hopefully AF isn't too far away.

Little Ted, hope the bleeding stops soon!!!! Stay sticky little one!

Yeah we waited for two normal periods after our D&C before TTC again. My cycles were about 29 days so not too bad; 35 days would certainly be annoying! Good luck! I have everything crossed for you!

Thank you ladies. Have moved to the couch to try and get some study done at least. Laying in bed hasn't helped - TMI - it's still red. Did go brownish for a bit, but started up again. Best case scenario is that the haematoma is draining out and will seal up. It's only slow, but steady.

DH has to take time off work though to help look after the kids and run the house. Will try and get a scan sooner than next week though as he really can't take too much time off, and if bub has passed, he may as well go back to work.

In regards to the placenta question - my last one from a successful labour/birth was dropped on the floor - hilarious...only because I didn't have to clean it up! I will not be frying mine up

Had my first OB appointment last night. All was fine. He was happy to see us, went back over Skye's results and said that there was something else found in my blood. I can't remember the full name, but again, he said it was nothing serious, and only a super small amount that probably wasn't the cause of death. Anyways, because of this factor, and the very small amount of anti nuclear antibodies, he suggested clexane injections. Basically he was saying that there's every chance I could carry on taking the baby aspirin, and have no issues, and if I just had one of these issues, (not that you can really cause it an issue coz I was such small amounts recorded on the tests...) he would be fine with just baby aspirin.... But with both, to go above and beyond to being this baby home, clexane would be an option. In other words, I don't need it, but just in case.
He also spoke about close monitoring from end of first trimester, and if I get to 30 weeks, I get a bronze medal, 32, silver, and 34 gold. And that there's no way he'd allow me to go full term...
It was really good that he stuck to everything he said he would next time we fell pregnant. Reassuring. He also said, a number of times, I will do anything and everything I can to keep this baby with us....
The only bummer thing was that his measurements put us back a couple of days, my calculations had us at 06/04, scan on Saturday was 05/04 but he's saying 07/04. In the grand scheme of things, what's a day or two, especially as I'll be induced in March anyways...

Anyways, reason for my post, has anyone in here been on Clexane injections? Just wanting to hear others experience so we can decide wjat to do or if theres any cons, etc. If we decide to go that path, he suggested carrying on with baby aspirin until about 15 weeks, then injections after that to whenever I want to stop or up until the end...

    Sorry for the long post!

Good luck today blotched! Fx all goes well. Are you finding out the sex??

Little ted I'm so sorry to hear that you are bleeding hopefully it's best case scenario like you said. What is your gut telling you? I definately believe we just "know" how these things will end up.

A for the placenta....af creeps me out, I have a queasy stomach for anything like that....even raw meat is a challenge some days....I'm happy to not see or touch it. although I like the idea of panting it under a tree.

You can get them done into capsules to take like tablets as opposed to eating it like dinner lol. I think they boil, then dry it, crush it, and put it in capsules.

I understand the thinking behind it...but don't think its for me. Each to their own.

Afm, coming up to the fun part. I believe I should o about monday. (only going by ewcm in previous months)
    Swim my future child, swim!

Mum said to ds the other day... "you are growing up so fast! You need a brother or sister!" he now keeps telling me I need the dr to get his sister or of my belly! He ha been carrying his doll around, wrapped in his favorite blanket, giving it a bottle too! If only it was that easy.

Glad to hear the appointment went well Munchkin. It must have been a little weight off your shoulders to get a game plan & have options to think about so that Skye's lil brother or sister gets to go home with you. I am sure that she'll be watching over this baby too
