I'm not having a treat meal as I have leftovers, but I'm currently in the (slow) process of making Anzac biscuits. I'm using wholemeal flour and adding a good dollop of natural vanilla.

I'll have two with a cup of milk instead of snacks and I still get my chocolate! I'm having a bit of trouble with rolling the mixture because it's not binding very well. I've never made biscuits before so I'll see how they turn out, but I will post photos later. Speaking of photos, post away ladies! I want to see all of your food!

This was my treat meal today...a veggie burger from the cafe where my kids do swimming. Chickpea and pumpkin pattie with lettuce and tomato and mayo on dark rye bread. Absolutely delicious!

Baking fail, ha ha... This is the only lot that kinda sorta turned out. And they're all mini and veeeeery fragile. Less than half the mix so I have no idea how many cals in them. Still, they taste delish!

Anyone know where I might have gone wrong?

I have found today is really the first day that I haven't felt hungry. However, that could be because Saturdays are usually my busiest day of the week.

My dinner was the creamy mushroom sauce from the recipe list, and I added chicken and had it with pasta. It was pretty good. I also had a glass of wine and a small piece of dark chocolate.

I did my SSS this afternoon - I did the outdoor beginners, but I did it in the lounge room and power walked on the treadmill. I think I may struggle to get out of bed in the morning. And the tricep dips.....OMG, I thought my triceps were going to explode. I did pretty well for the workout overall but my dips and my push ups were awful. In future I hope to really pick up the pace on the walk at the end, maybe even make it a jog.

And I pulled my hamstring. How did I pull my hamstring? Pushing DD and some other kids around on one of the plastic roundabout rides at the playground .

Special patrol it sounds like you get extra exercise at the playground pushing kids around! Hope your hamstring heals quickly.

Haha SPG, I nearly died during those tricep dips! I was so worried about the burpees and mountain climbers (not that bad) I didn't even think about the wall sit and tricep dips. Thanks Funnels! They do look nice and they taste nice but I only got about half the dough's worth. Oh well... And if I comfort ate every time I have a fight with DH, I'd end up on some weight loss program...oh wait! So that's how it happened 😜

I hope things pick up for you LoCo. One thing I've found about this is that even in one week I've felt so much better mentally. It's the first thing I've done for myself for a long time. We'll all be thinking of you tomorrow...
