Default When is it time to swap sides ?

    Hi

I just want to know...how do u know its time to offer the second breast ? I am first time mum with a 1 week old bub and i have no indication of wen to offer the second side other than the first side feels smaller and she starts to dettach frequently. Is there a clear indication ?

I'd like to know too. I just chuck DD on a boob and she usually seems happy there lol.

Yep I usually know its time to swap when she detaches a few times. Sometimes she'll latch on, suck suck suck, then come off crying, that's when I know it's time to swap.

So glad you asked this question. I'm 30 weeks along and I've been wondering the same thing. Glad you asked!

I wait for DD to stop or starts fidgeting, burp her and then offer the other side. Next feed I start on the side I offered last.
