I just want to know...how do u know its time to offer the second breast ? I am first time mum with a 1 week old bub and i have no indication of wen to offer the second side other than the first side feels smaller and she starts to dettach frequently. Is there a clear indication ?

She will pull off when she's finished the first side. What you are describing sounds like she's done on that side. A newborn will probably take at least 20 minutes per side but it varies.
