    Default Sharp cervix pain inside vagina

    Is it normal in early pregnancy to have on and off sort of a sharp pain inside on cervix and middle tummy in line with cervix??

    I have no idea but its not just in early pregnancy. When I asked the middies they weren't sure what it was though. =(

    I had some pains early in preg. I was told its due to all the stretching and growing in your uterus. Nothing to worry about but if it doesnt settle I would call your OB

    It comes and goes and sometimes feels like knife stabbing up vagina.

    I know in later preg that can be caused from bubs head sitting on the cervix and the pressure on the nerves etc

    I only had it much later in pregnancy. And definitely had it as my cervix started to dilate over the last couple of weeks, maybe from 37 til term. I think that bubs head hitting cervix also caused the pain. It used to feel like I'd been stabbed in the cervix with a very sharp knife.

    I personally never had it early on in pregnancy either time.
