Am I crazy?
I'm considering getting a King Sized bed because Ds1&2 (18m/4yrs) end up in our beds most nights. It's doable when one is in our current Queen bed, but very squishy with both.
It's my only solution ( currently Dh gets kicked out into Ds1's single bed).

Thats why my sister got a king sized bed, I'm hoping to get one soon, mostly because I want to be a bed hog but will also be useful for the kids

Do it! We've had one since we got married, having kids in the bed would make it a no brainier for me.
The only drawback is that you start having to book expensive hotel rooms cos you can't go on holidays and have a smaller bed than you have at home - that's not a holiday!

Do it. I have mine to myself for part of the night (and the occasional full night) and it's bliss being lost in blankets upon an endless mattress.
I want to go to bed now!!

King size rocks!!! Best decision ever. I love the space. My son sometimes would end up in our bed and it was sooo squishy cause he woukd sleep horizontally! !! Now he creeps into our bed whilst we are asleep and plenty of room. We don't even notice he's there! !
If u have kids creeping into your bed in tge

Upgraded our bed when dd was born cos it was too hard/firm and considered buying a king then.
Wish I had/could of gone thru with it because I love our bed but would be much more comfortable when dd sleeps with us.
But at the time I was worried it wouldn't fit nicely with bedsides in our room. I already sleep on the side to the ensuite and if we had of got the king I would be practically in the toilet!.
I also have the problem when booking hotel rooms because our mattress is super plush and dh convinced me to get the pillow top. So I really struggle when we go away on holidays because the mattresses never feel as good as ours. So you might find you have that issue anyway if you are also looking at a softer mattress.
