Hi,I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first and have discovered that I should've probably booked in with an obstetrician before conception I'm keen to deliver at Frances Perry House and was planning on going with Dr Peter Jurcevic, but unfortunately he is not taking anymore ladies due in March.I would like to have a natural birth and keep as active as possible through my labour, and as such would like to find an obstetrician who is on the same page. If anyone has any recommendations on an OB at FPH could you please PM me.Thanks in advance.

Congratulations! Such exciting times! 🎉🎉
I went through Mark Umstad and cannot recommend him enough! He and Peter Jurcevic cover each other during their annual leave and weekends.
The best way to describe Mark is that he's like a teddy bear. Such a caring and gentle nature. You always feel like no question is silly and can call up and ask whatever.
He's us extremely highly respected among his peers and has specialised in all sorts if pregnancy and birth complications so you know you are being taken care of someone who has seen it all and will notice something at the earliest stage if there's anything to notice.

I used to work there for five years and I would highly reccomend kym Jansen. She is down to earth and an excellent ob who will discuss with you well in advance what your plans are for birth and do everything she can to make that happen. Mark Umstad is very good but he's also $$$$ as he does alot of complicated pregnancies. Hope that helps x

Thanks so much for your recommendation. I've booked in with Mark and have my first appointment in a couple of weeks. It's so great hearing other people's experiences. Thanks again
