Default BLW Cookbook - is it necessary?

I'm just about to order the BLW book and wondering if I should also get the cookbook or will I get the gist of what kinds of food I should be offering from the normal BLW book?

I didn't use the cookbook....basically I just started giving DD whatever we were eating. That (to me) was the whole premise of BLW.

The BLW I found was enough....it explained everything so I felt confident giving her foods. From memory there were some food ideas as well.

I bought it but only really used 1 or 2 recipes from it - if you google BLW finger food recipes ( or I'm sure there are heaps on here!) you will find heaps!

I found you need a few food finger food ideas/recipes for lunches or to take out if the food where you are going is not appropriate for bubs which I found I needed mostly for the 6-9 month age ( homemade various types of nuggets/fish cakes/ veggie slice type thing)
