Thanks for all replies.
I went to the GP cos I couldn't bear the weird blocked /half deafness! He took a look in both ears and said they were chockablock full of wax! Ick! I had them syringed it took many go's by both the nurse and the dr. He checked them afterwards and said they are unblocked now and they got mostly all the wax out!
My right ear is still blocked though, I hope that I wake up tomorrow and it's clear!

It's not feeling any better. I feel off balance and dizzy, especially when I move my head suddenly. There is a white noise from my right ear..

Sounds like an infection. Doc said no infection?

Book a hearing test. Generally no referral needed. The audio will do multiple tests and can report back to your GP for further investigation!
As I said before anything just in one ear is seriously concerning combined with noises needs checking. Sometimes the earlier you get diagnosed the less damage is done!

He just said it was just full of wax. I thought it was just my right ear that would've been full of wax cos I could hear pretty well from my left but he said they were both as full as each other. He looked in them both after syringing and said they were both "clear". They didn't feel any better but I just thought maybe my ears were full of water still so it would clear up later? I should've said something then! Anyway I might book in again if its not gone away tomorrow!

Yep the wax might be clear but sometimes thats not the cause of the blocked feeling to start with.
From my experience some Dr's will wait until you completely lose your hearing before getting it checked. Totally up to you and the amount of trust you have in your GP but if it was me I'd be going to a hearing clinic first.
Best of luck. I know how you feel. Hope it gets sorted!

Try Otravin nasal spray. I used to use it when flying to unblock ears with great success but usually it was just a bandaid fix until I could get to the drs for antibiotics.
