Default So over the 1st trimester!!!

I know I shouldnt complain cos I have got off lightly where m/s is concerned, mainly nausea when I was hungry.

But today, for the first time with the 12 week mark in sight I have

Been feeling queasy all morning, and actually feel much better now, but I can't wait for the next three months when hopefully all this feeling like cr*p is behind me......

Hi HHL it WILL get better in the second trimester!

I was just like you at the end of the first trimester - I had only 6 times in total... and thought it was all over... but then I managed to twice the day AFTER I hit 12 weeks! I was so annoyed. But I'm 21 weeks now and have felt grrrrreat since about week 14-15 - so hang in there!!

I understand your wish to get past all the first trimester ickiness, even if you haven't been horridly sick, just sick enough for it to be distressing. It's still not been much fun for you has it?

It does get better from here! I was horridly sick til about 12 weeks, then just mildly sick til about 18 weeks and then suddenly I started getting energy and feeling like my old self! Then I hit 27 weeks (welcome to the 3rd trimester!!) and my pelvic ligaments stopped holding my pelvis together and my hips said I wasn't allowed to lie on my side anymore without pain ... oh well, it will all be over for me in 10 1/2 weeks

I felt nauseous until about 18-20 weeks. Now I have my appetite back, my hormones have settled down so my skin is good and I don't have headaches anymore, so it does get better.

Just wish I didn't feel so stretched in the tummy and have a bub playing footy practice in there 24/7

The 2nd trimester is the greatest
Limitless energy (well compared to now that is ), glowing skin, nice hair, a real baby bump, and best of all, those first movements
Not long to go for you now Holly...

    Hope you're right!

My skin has cleared up a lot over the last few days though so maybe the end is in sight!
