The side effects are exactly the same as it's the same hormone and hpts are positive too - so I can't truly know until my BT

Update on me: unfortunately my HCG went down to 23 today and I know AF is on her way, can't wait to stop the crinone and flush this out.
Feeling great after appointment with our new FS, she was so lovely and picked up a lot of things my previous FS never mentioned including my LH was low so is going to change me to menopur on an antagonist cycle (yay for no 6wk down reg!) then start me on 200 to give me a boost and drop me down on day 4 to 150 as she could see from my last 2 cycles that I took ages to stim, thank goodness she could see that as other FS didn't change anything on my 1st cycle to my 2nd. She's also going to do give my eggs calcium to help fertilization & increase progesterone after transfer. She's suggested doing a 3 day transfer & freeze half of the embryos at 3 day and grow half to blastocyst (providing there's enough). She's also open to us doing a double transfer on day 3, which I was very happy about as with last FS he was a flat out no way for double transfer. She agrees that some embryos just don't like the culture in the dish for 5 days and plenty of day 3's become beautiful babies!
I'm also very happy I get to have a drug free month with no pill then at the end of the month i'll have a BT and go from there. So most likely starting again in September.
So relieved this apt was today after a bad week. Feeling fresh minded for the weekend!!

Veritas - that is definitely a positive HPT I've been reading a few IVF forums and lots of ladies are getting their positives at 5dp 5dt so I would take it as a really good sign and keep testing each day to make sure it continues to get a bit darker. How exciting
Arlais - gaggh - you cant even test as you know it will come up positive haha. Really hoping this is your month.
JB2011 - Nooo so bummed to read your tests are dropping. You sound really positive though and if this isn't it - it almost was so FX for you in the coming months xx You are now in the same boat as me. No pill this month (trying naturally) and if negative then cycling in late Aug/early sept so I will most likely see you there

Well folks we made it to India. FINALLY
Picked up a nasty chest infection on the plane to Malaysia, and spent the past 5 days crook as a dog. I hate antibiotics bit even the Dr was seriously concerned at how rapid the infection was spreading so I got me some pills.
Saw our FS yesterday for initial consultation or so I thought. Boy was I wrong!!
I thought I had another 2 weeks to prepare.. NOPE!
Our egg donor was having her pick up done immediately after hubby gave his sample. My Uterine lining measured in at 10cms so it was a green light for everyone. We were informed before we left the clinic that we had a batch of 12 eggs. If things looked great then I would be having the implant done on Sunday, if not so fabulous or they couldnt decide what ones they liked the best.. then it would be a 5d transfer on Tuesday.
Got the email this morning that we are ready to go at 9am this Sunday. I sent off a list of questions for the specialist to answer, so we should have that back to share and ask advice on, tomorrow.
I am dragging myself out to Agra, by car and driver, tomorrow to see the Taj Mahal. Since I will be on a weeks bed rest and gentle strolls only, there wont be much time for sight seeing next week at all.
Ok thats the update for now. I am sending you all truck loads of baby dust and love.

I have a TWW funny for you ladies!
I am 5dp5dt and haven't had any symptoms. This evening I drank some milk and it didn't taste normal, I thought it must have been a "symptom" and my tastes were changing. DH came along after (just as I was day dreaming about my BFP) and took a sip of my drink. Turns out the milk was going off and I am back to having no symptoms!!
How do we not all go crazy doing this??!!??

JB2011... the plans with your new FS sound great. It's so important to do something different, in order to get a better result next time.
Oddity Acres... wow, you are certainly having an adventure in India. Not the usual thing most people travel to India for :-)) Good luck for some really nice embies. Are you transferring 1 or 2?
Bedlover.... hehe that's so funny about your sour milk. Bet you were so excited for a moment? Yes, having no symptoms is driving me crazy too, as I'm now also 5dp5dt and I still feel nothing. The guide says that at this stage "implantation is complete and cells that will eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop". I'm trying hard to believe that something is happening down there when I'm feeling nothing. I know some women apparently go months or even full term without realising they're pregnant, but I just don't know how that's possible!! Surely...
