Default Purchase new house with tenants

Ok a couple of months ago we purchased our dream home.
However there is tenants in the house and the lease expires 2nd of Jan 2014.
We had no problem until now.
We are renting and the owners have just sold the house and our lease ends August 20 so we have to move out.

Is there a loop hole for asking our tenants to move out?
I've spoken to the agent and he has got the impression they aren't eager to move

I've been looking at other rentals and I can't get a month by month lease and can't even find a house with a four month lease that takes us up to Jan.

We could move into my parents house but its at least an hour drive away and my kids are in school. So each day would be a four hour school run.

    Help what to do??

No loop hole unless they breach the lease or are behind in rent - do they know they have to be out in January?

The only thing we've done before is explain to the tenant the landlord would like to move before January and has offered to pay your moving costs and 1 months rent ( or whatever you want to offer) if you could move now - and just explain that they would have to move anyway and xmas is a crap time bla bla and this way they have compensation - get your agent to give notice now - saying you want possession at the end of the lease so it at least gets them thinking and they might start looking?

Yeah they know when the lease ends. And yes they have been told they need to move.
The agent has been showing them houses and they haven't liked any of them.
I think they are dirty cause they missed out on the sale.

We are thinking of offering $1000 to be out by early sept. that's what we can afford
    Might ring tomorrow.

Maybe offer their bond back when they leave? Or equivalent? I would also make it official by getting your RE to send them a letter.
