    Yeh I do have on reverse I'm sure? Maybe I'm not doing it properly? It has the reverse symbol showing so I assume it's on?

    Sounds about right. Hmmm.. that's strange. I find the texture isn't quite right but it definitely isn't shredded. Have you tried adding smaller pieces?

    Ok so tell me exactly how to insert butterfly attachment. Just put it straight over blades????

    Thanks ze. I'm going to do that. I had this awesome Asian salad with shredded chicken and ponzu dressing at a restaurant once. ..I want to try and copy it.


    I haven't had a problem with chicken in the bowl with butterfly. . but I do cut the chicken quite small. It says 2cm cubes. It does tend to make the pieces break up a bit though.

    I find meat gets stuck under the blades TBH. As much as I love it I don't think it's quite perfected the cooking of meat in the jug TBH. You could cook it in the varoma or, as tamtam said, try cutting the chicken pieces different sizes.

    The butterfly does just sit in the middle of the blades. You don't need to force or clip it in, just gently. Sounds like you're doing it right.

    If i leave any
    Of the white stringy crap on my meat, chicken, steak, that gets caught on the blades and makes it sticky, when i make sure its all trimmed it doesnt get stuck.

    Yep fully trimmed and diced small? Ok think I will steer away from using the bowl for chicken!

    I've not tried meat but assume it would do the same thing??

    I don't blitZ the chicken to shred it. I turn it to reverse to knock it about and falls apart that way
