Shani2 - I'm with you, the slices disappear in my house way too fast - and I don't have a partner to blame!

Yes you can simply freeze a muffin once it's cooked/cooled. I deliberately do this so that they DON'T all get eaten too fast. They defrost really fast too.

That's what I'm thinking pesca!! The bread rolls were disappearing at lightning speeds until I started half cooking them, freezing then cooking 2 at a time for DH's lunches. I just need to remove the temptation, DH is supposed to be on a low cholesterol diet but I do allow a treat or two a day but he just won't stop if there in the fridge as he has no self control.

Thanks for that, found some apple and cinnamon ones I might make with wholemeal flour.

Uh oh. That's dangerous with the slice baking each fortnight. Making edc chicken cashew tonight. Looking forward to a big cooking day Friday. Feel in not doing enough in thermie. Probably because I'm working up until dinner time and am tired and sore. Must try harder.

I've started a thermie page on fb. Come over and like, there's a competition starting on it where you can win a Thermoskin (pretty decal to stick on your thermie)
    It's called Thermolex

Just one I stumbled on- http://becs-table.com.au/recipes-2/g...the-thermomix/

She's got some nice recipes up there. The custard was quirky jo's caramel but with 80g sugar instead of 100
