Very good point about the milestones, Crazy. I didn't think of it like that!!!
And lexie, looks like you found us... (If that doesn't make sense check my post on your previous new thread) :-)

So I went & got my results & hCg is 33. It's quite low & Dr said it could be because it's early but he did say they would like to see them higher. I'm getting more bloods done on Mon so if it does increase enough to show it doubling every 48-72 hours then bean is hanging on. If not then its just the waiting game for body to do what it needs to do.
I'm not very confident - not sure if it's gut instinct or self preservation kicking in I'll update again when I get the next round of results.

I went to gp last night and told her the good news. She said to come back in a couple of weeks for bloods and what not as I have already been a bit of a pin cushion this week... :-( but I did do another IC test and it was stronger so that was enough to keep me happy for now!

Thanks so much girls.
I'm really doing ok though. I am leaving it all in the hands of fate or God or whatever higher power controls what happens. But i really do think the odds are against us here. I'll let you guys know what happens on Monday, but if it's not going to stick i'm hoping it's over sooner rather than later. I don't want it to drag out.
Major sticky baby dust to all you wonderful girls

Just got my BFP yesterday on our first IVF cycle - completely amazed and blessed it happened first time for us - now I'm just hoping like crazy it's sticky According to calculators I will be due around the 8th of April.
I have blood tests scheduled weekly to keep an eye on my hormone levels and a 7 week scan booked (actually will be approx 7w5d then). As per instructions from my clinic I've also booked in with an Obstetrician already (3rd Sept). Initially I was overwhelmed at having to make a choice so soon, but I already had the name of one from a couple of friends that were very happy. Bonus is she's also a fertility specialist, so obviously well aware of anything special needed for an IVF pregnancy. I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't get in with her, so hugely relieved that's taken care of!
So my next month or so is probably a bit different to most people, I'm curious when other people expect to have scans etc?
