Heart Kids is a great charity and goes well with the birth of the Royal Baby. 6 Babies are born every day in Australia with a heart defect.

What about a service/charity like Heartfelt? Something that provides assistance to mums and dads who weren't able to take their princes or princesses home with them.

So our list of possibilities is -

    Cystic Fibrosis Federation Australia
    Bear Cottage
    ACT for Kids
    Youth Off the Streets
    NSW Women’s Refuge Movement
    The staff at Bear Cottage
    Heart Kids
    Heartfelt
    Pregnancy Loss Australia

Any more to add before I start another poll to choose which one?

It's one of William and Kate's supported charities, it has headquarters in both England and Australia, and what better gift for a baby than a sustainable future?

    I really like

Not sure if there's another similar org that is Australia wide... This one is Vic specific.

They get essential supplies to expecting and mums of bubs who are in desperate need. They work with local MCHN to ensure mums receive what they specifically need.

The NSW Women’s Refuge Movement is a state-wide organisation representing a network of refuges and other specialist domestic and family violence services. The NSW Women’s Refuge Movement aims to see all women and children who are experiencing domestic and family violence receive a quality response, service and support.

I second this. I don't think this service gets nearly enough recognition. DV effects not just women but children also in life-altering ways.

Maybe a donation to the Birth Kit foundation so women in developing nations can have access to a safe birth like Kate did.
