Default Sitting up but not rolling at almost 9 months

    Hi all,

Just a quick question you might be able to help with.

My (almost) 9 month old DS is sitting very well but will not roll, he is also not crawling. We give him lots of tummy time and encouragement to roll (both front to back and back to front).

My DD hit all the usual milestones and in the right order.

I'm not over concerned as I know we will eventually roll and crawl and will be running around under my feet before I know it!

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this?

    Thanks

    Una

Yeah i did and my son ended up in physio, but that didnt brought as anything.. Until i tried a new trick i found in one of the forums.
i rolled out a towel on my bed or some other soft grounds and put my bubba on one end and i would lift that end, giving him the feeling of rolling without me touching him.. He actually rolled then for the first time.. He was 7 1/2 month by then. He is now 11 month still not crawling or walking but he is creeping like a champ and gets into the crawling position and attempts to crawl.
maybe try some tricks to get him to crawl lol.. Is ur bubba doing other things right on track?

Is he trying to move around the floor? I think it's great that he's sitting unaided & as long as he tries to get around to reach things that's a good sign. I wouldn't be worried about him not crawling yet, but doing all you can to encourage rolling is a good idea; I think the PP's towel idea is great. Let us know how you go.

My 11month ds can crawl but never rolled. He sat strongly from 3.5 months. Never interested in rolling. I wouldn't worry.
