I live in adelaide and I catch trams, bus's and trains. I have an emmalunja and I love it as I do grocery shopping for us. I bought a mountain buggy and HATE it. So getting rid of that. Sticking with emmalunja for public transport and going out even though its a large pram it fits heaps on it!! And I will get my kids worth with it.

I've actually found it's not too much of an issue getting on/off trams with any sort of pram. 99% of the time someone offers to help, and when they don't I just poke my head into the tram and shout 'can someone give me a hand please?' And someone always helps. If I'm getting on by myself I find the easiest way is to go backwards and kind of drag the pram up. This locks the wheels on some prams though so doesn't work for those types.

Maybe look at the Baby Jogger City Versa. Light, large basket, can have a bassinet for newborn (at extra cost) folds with seat RF or FF.
