Yes, been to dr. Was a reaction to something but don't know what. Haven't eaten, drunk, touched etc. anything out of the ordinary. But with the hormones all over the place, who knows?
Antihistamines are not recommended so have a cream to soothe the itch. It is better now up apparently will come and go for a while.
Had 11 week bloods done after and they failed the first time so I was stabbed in both arms.
But I got nothing on you Waiting. I'll take my itchiness over your horrible time.
Can't wait to hear how you went with scan Nic, and not long for you Shelby.

How are you feeling Ijjies and waiting? Hope you're both feeling back to normal.
I need a whinge!!! I ran last night and have developed bad pubic symphysis pain. I can hardly walk today. Hoping a day in bed does the trick. Woe is me!
On the plus side, I had my check up yesterday and everything looks good with bub. Estimated weight is 1kg now at 24 weeks so still on track to be around 9 pd at birth. I guess it makes sense that my body isn't coping with running but

NicT - oh that sucks about the Pubic Symphisis pain. Ive had SPD this pregnancy, not nice at all. Though I got it really bad early on and it has gradually improved (not gone away though ) Great that bubs is doing so well. They estimated my DD to be 9lb at birth but at 39+3 she was only 7lb 8 so I dont think the guesstimates are overly accurate...
Ijjles - I hope the cream is working for you. I always have problems getting blood out at tests, usually results in at least both arms plus a wrist or foot or hand (or 2) being attacked... I dread it!
Well Im out of bed but only because I have to today I cannot believe how unwell Ive been, I dont ever remember being sick like this before. Went to drs on Sun, they said it was just a viral infection and just to ride it out. Well its now Wed and Im pretty much no better. Still fluey, achey and coughing my lungs up. Coughing is so bad Ive now hurt stomach muscles and my asthma is playing up. Im also getting mega BH after each coughing fit, which in the last 24-48 hours have started to turn painful and Im quite crampy so its all making me quite nervous. Off to the drs at 1pm them got appt with the OB to check bubs fluid levels and will be drilling her with questions...

That sounds terrible waiting. Hopefully it's nothing too serious. Fx fluid levels are better today for you at least.
I'm kind of resigned to this being a big bub. It has measured larger since about 9 weeks and is now 2 weeks ahead. I was 9 and a half pd and my mum was 12 pd so a big bub was always the most likely outcome. Fx they are wrong though!!!

Eeek 12lb!! I was only 2lb but I was very prem so nothing to really go by! DH was around the same size as DD.

Good news!! Bubs has been a complete leech the past week and despite me being so dehydrated fluid levels have gone back in the safe range (hooray!!!!)
They are concerned about my chest infection and my asthma so I have to start prednisolone tonight then Im of to the WCH Friday to have an asthma assessment done. If my asthma gets any worse in the meantime, I need to be admitted. The OB and the WCH specialist were gobsmacked that not only didnt either of the GPs Ive seen do a peak-flow assessment, but one of them today told me to STOP using my preventer. Thank GOD Ive got half a brain and didnt think that sounded right!
