Hi Kimnus. DH and I will be TTC next year, hoping for an early 2015 bubba. I hope our journey is a short one.Trying to get all possible research and knowledge in now. Thinking of doing my general pre conception check up at the end of the year. Any advice on preparing myself?

a pre pregnancy check up is a perfect start, as if you are not immune to some things, that can put your journey on hold until you are up to date on your vaccinations.
I hope your journey is a short one as well!

Thanks for the tip Kimnus! I wish we could start TTC earlier than May, but we committed to a friends trip to Melb in April, so don't want to be pregnant on holiday. After that it's all guns blazing. I really hope the rest of the year flies by, I'm so clucky at the moment

I currently have an 8 week old, and I always thought I would only have the one baby. However, after discussions with my partner, it looks like I will go again, and as I don't want a big gap, and we are looking to have a large family (my partner is SS and she is looking to have a few babies too) it looks like I will be TTC in 2014.
We are IVF and have 2 frosties awaiting us.... Soooo excited, but exhausted from this one too!!!

That's really exciting and I am pleasantly surprised that you are thinking of more children even when you have an 8 week old. Obviously you didn't find the birth too bad then
I'd love 3-4 children. But everyone always harps on about how much work it is and how expensive it is. I just have all these dreams of a large family at Christmas with all our children and their partners etc. I just have to convince DH that its a good idea to have a big brood we will see!

DH and I are both looking for a big family too :-)
Though whatever happens happens! One step at a time lol.
We have similar timing constraints - we don't want to start trying before June-July as we don't want a Dec baby, so we are aiming more for March.
How old is everyone, and how many bubs already?
I'm 23yo married for 5 months to partner of 6yrs, this will be our first attempt TTC
soon to be joining the TTC bandwagon ❤
