BubHub is hardly an accurate cross section of society

To answer the OP, most weeks I drink 4-5 nights a week, but only 1-2 of those would see me tipsy. Friday and Saturday nights I usually have a few drinks, and a couple of other nights I'll have one glass of wine. (Of course if I'm pouring that's a very healthy glass )

I get that. I can't believe that 86% of mothers drink that often.

On the same show they were warning women not to go to AA or NA etc... because all the long time members are out to get them drunk and rape them

I said 'I don't drink regularly' - and for me this translates to approx 1-2 nights a month while out to dinner with the girls. I used to really enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine with dh of an evening, but since having my son 4 years ago I have found alcohol affects me differently now. I tend to just get drowsy, which makes life difficult when I have assignments to get done at night.

I am really looking forward to when my kids are all older and being able to 'enjoy' having a drink with dh again! Hopefully the tired feeling will wear off one day!

I will have a drink about 3 nights a week. Usually a glass or two of wine with dinner. When I go out I tend to binge though, if I have a boozy day at the races I can have several bottles of wine on my own.....

*cough* We have about two thousand bottles of wine currently, some at home, most in an offsite cellar. Say no more.

I don't drink regularly. Maybe a beer with a meal out every couple of months.

I rarely drink at home, pretty much only drink while out which happens about once a month. That once a month usually ends up being way too much (last time it was a 4 pack of cruisers, 4 cocktails, half a bottle of wine and a cider) so drinking 1 drink a few times a week would probably be healthier!

    I luuurve a drink.

I will usually have a glass of liquor a night in summer - gin & tonic or frangelico over ice, that kind of thing.

In winter not so much, maybe a glass of red wine with dinner 3-4 times a week?
