My 12yo dd has had this problem for nearly a yr now but what is it? Is it acne? I'm taking her to the Dr tomorrow as nothing is helping.I'm wondering if cats can ccause this as she has two cats that sleep up near her face everynight?

I'm not sure. It looks like heat rash to me.

not sure but i'd say it's just the pimples you normally get with puberty..

It looks like little pimples to me - white heads. Have you tried something like clearasil face wash? Just something mild that she can use morning and night. I can see a few larger red spots which I assume are pimples too.
Poor thing! Puberty and pimples suck!!

Thanks, she has tried a few things and somedays it does look better but she just hates it. She was in tears yesterday saying the kids at school tease her and call her bubble face
She is school captain and is usually a very bright, happy, confidant child but this is really pulling her down. She hasn't got AF yet.....I'm really hoping the Dr can help.

Oh your poor daughter
Yes, definitely looks like acne to me, my skin was very similar at that age. Hope you manage to find something that helps!! SassyMummy is a beauty therapist on here, and I've seen her give some good ideas about products that can ease acne, perhaps give her a PM, and see if she can recommend some good stuff.
All the best.
