So not long ago I asked for everyones thoughts on girls names....well we narrowed it down to Sofia or Summer! But now the middle names are causing troubles.
We were going to go with Anne...as its my middle name, and my great grandmothers middle name and is sort of in the family, etc, etc. ...
But I really love Rose ! And feel like Summer Rose or Sofia Rose sounds better than Summer Anne or Sofia Anne.....and i dont know if i should just go with tradition or create a new one.
What do u think ?

I prefer Anne. I like Rose but it is so popular as middle name. I have 3 daughters and I think about 3/4 of their friends have the middle name Rose!

I think Rose flows better with both names. That said, I do like middle names with meaning.

Sofia Anne is really, really lovely. I like the special meaning that Anne has in your family too.

My vote goes for Anne, but purely because I prefer mn with meaning. They don't get used anyway.

My little one is Sofia. We used my fathers name as her middle name. I'm not sure Anne "sounds" right with Summer, though it's okay with Sofia, but as people have pointed out, she is unlikely to use both names together very often. That said, maybe consider an alternate of Anne? Anna? My elder daughter is Annika after her greatgrandmother Anna, strangely enough

I like Anne, it goes lovely with both names and I like the sentiment - but maybe that is because I am very over Rose as a name, it is so popular. Summer Rose sounds a bit try hard to me (sorry). Summer Anne is my friends name, I love it!

I prefer Anne also.
Really don't like Summer Rose, agree with above, sounds a bit corny.
